Lover on the Loose
04:07
|
|||
Lover on the loose
Say a prayer for me
Beneath the evergreens
My aches and pains
Grow and never cease
Travelled far with grace
Into the moonlit trees
Seek a little sight
For my failing eyes
It is hard to trace
A glimmer in the night
Feeling out of pace
With the rhythm of the light
Lean in low
Become the wind
Begin to blow
Upon my skin
And settle in
Woods hum a silent blues
Awaiting all your cues
I befriend this grey
With everything to lose
I am what you say
A lover on the loose
Lean in low
Become the wind
Begin to blow
Upon my skin
Winter kisses
My cold lips
Don't you leave me
Here like this
Don't you leave me
Here like this
How could you leave me
Here like this

Stumble On
03:49
|
|||
Stumble on
I carry on
Never turn my head aside
Through the thorns
I wrestle with the lies
My conscience grows
In a mist of deepest grey
Stays the course
But is heavy on the way
I stumble on
With a silent tear
I now give away
May my coming years
Be well hid from pain
It'll take sometime
Before I draw near
Help me loose my hands
What I hold dear
You sought me out
In a riverbed bone dry
Where nothing flowed
You placed your heart with mine
Come find me now
In the unrelenting wind
I"ll gather a hope
That we"ll come this way again
I stumble on,I stumble on

Crossing Lines
04:52
|
|||
Crossing lines
This mornings all regret
My hands the darkest red
I will not soon forget
No purer heart is left
My body starts to quake
Feeling all the weight
A field now bearing stains
From loving you in vain
Oh the grass isn't greener
On the whole, feels like I've split
this soul
My ways
Take their toll
Crossing lines
With every stroke
Crossing lines
With every stroke
I feel beyond your reach
Am I too far down stream
There's no word left to speak
I take my leave in peace

Under Stars

Under stars (Lyrics)
On those prairie plains
Was a man with quite the urge
Longing for an ease that cures a curse
Enough of all the pain
Decided to be brave
Went alone and wandered to his fate
Big rock Big rock
Don't mind if I get lost
Temptations sweet
Every time you speak under stars
Yes on those prairie plains
Had started quite a change
Those trying times had ended with a claim
No one could ever say
He'd ever gone astray
From the path that led him to his grave
Big rock Big rock
Don't mind if I get lost
Temptations sweet
Every time you speak under stars
Big rock Big rock
Don't mind if I get lost
Temptations sweet
But I'd rather be under stars
Under stars
Under stars
On those prairie plains
Was a man with quite the urge
Longing for an ease that cures a curse
Enough of common ways
Decided to be brave
Went alone and wandered to his fate

Cause I'm Yours Always
03:09
|
|||
Cause I'm yours always
Once had the colours of a kite
Cherished by warm beams a bright
My woes lost in daydreams
How quickly they dragged me down
Truth hits me hard like a train
Sets like the links in a chain
Could all I have given
Be wasted and hidden away
Hear me pine
You walls of stone
I won't lie
About the years you stole
It's enough
Breathing words you phrase
Suffer much
Cause I'm yours always
Call me a friend its plain to see
You lock the door and toss the keys
Interpret your meaning
It feels like deceiving to me
Hope finds a hole in despair
Guess there's a message here somewhere
Someday I'll know trust
But right now I want to cuss

The Hallowed Grey
04:35

The Hallowed Grey
Travellers
On the great divide
Who hold each other
With a tie that binds
Setting sun
Dance along our skin
Cause we share a mind
Believing love will win
And as we go
Down waterways
A trickle flows
To a wilder place
Spare the eyes
From crystal gazing ends
While the pearls break
The surface in ascent
Trouble lies
In a heart it loves
So we gather up
Treasures from above
And as we go
Down waterways
A trickle flows
To a wilder place
And as we go
Down waterways
We're floating near
The hallowed grey
